How your score is calculated.
Every factor is weighted, transparent, and computed automatically.
Verification
Account and profile verification reviewed by the HomeSwitch team contributes up to 30 points. Government ID checks are not yet available.
Profile completeness
A complete profile — photo, bio, location and languages — contributes up to 20 points.
Reviews
Reviews left by exchange partners, weighted by rating, contribute up to 25 points.
Completed exchanges & membership age
Completed exchanges (up to 15 points) and time as a member (up to 10 points) round out your score.
Data minimisation
We only ask for what a review needs, transmitted over a secure HTTPS connection, and we keep it no longer than necessary.
Full transparency
Everyone can see how the score is made up — no black box.
Human review
Our trust team reviews edge cases manually. Algorithms don't decide alone.
